It’s All About Pinot!
Mostly
Pinot Noir, a little bit of Pinot Gris and even a sparkling,
bubbly Rosé de Noir. It’s finicky, unpredictable,
sometimes quarrelsome – but so delicious, intriguing
and complex when coaxed into becoming wine. The Pinot Gris
is released earliest, but all enjoy a few months of bottle
aging before release, when I think they’ve settled down
and are beginning to strut their stuff.
You can read more about the Vineyards
and the different wines by clicking on the appropriate section
link above. For your convenience, the wines that are currently
available for sale directly from Flying Goat are listed in
the Current Wines section.
Although no longer available for sale, notes on our past vintages
are available in Library
Wines.
Word is getting around about our “goat
wine”, and we’ve been delighted that some very
fine restaurants and retailers have requested Flying Goat
Cellars Pinot Noir for their wine lists. You can check them
out by going to the Wine & Dine
section of the website. And if you’d like to read what
some wine critics think of this little adventure, some reviews
are posted in the In the Press area
of the Press & Trade section. Enjoy!
